JP was selected in 2020 as part of the prestigious NBC Alternative Directors Program. As part of this program she was able to shadow some of NBC most talented unscripted directors in shows such as WORLD OF DANCE, THE WALL AND BAKING IT.
At WORLD OF DANCE, JP had the chance to shadow director Chris Stotti during the VTR days of the show
competition. On THE WALL,she followed the talented director Michael Dempsey whose credits include Emmy-nominated 12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, NHL Awards, The Creative Arts Emmys amongst others.
On BAKING IT, she was welcomed by producers Pip Wells and Nicole Yaron who had her immerse in all aspects of the show as she followed the amazing director Paul Starkman. JP had the chance to be involved everyday of their pre-production as well as all of their VTR days. This was an incredible experience led by an amazing cast and crew. In this show JP was even able to direct a couple sequences.
